Riding in Iceland is a very memorable experience and most people tend to return to relive the adventure again. And then again. horse tours in Iceland is unique because we ride in spectacular nature, crossing rivers and rough terrain on comfortably gaited horses while we have a herd of horses running free – there can be up to 60 horses running with us controlled by the guides – and of course you have the opportunity to assist in the herding yourself as well should you wish to do so. We like to travel in smaller groups of 10-15 riders and a large number of horses in the herd so everyone is sure to find several favourite mounts.

Bring your own sleeping bag, but rest assure that we will find you a comfortable bed to roll it out onto after serving you good food – we cater to all tastebuds! Afterwards we sing together and recite the most exciting sagas to go with your well-deserved beer or glass of wine. After breakfast the next day we will each make our own sandwiches to bring in our saddle bags (provided by us) along with your personal all-weather gear.
We ride between 4-6 hours every day and we change horses two or three times each day to ensure a fresh mount and a comfortable ride for both horse and rider.
